Toor dal
- 1 cup toor dal split peas , yellow
- 1 tsp Sambhar masala
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup melted ghee or butter
- 3 cup water
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- Heat pan add ghee
- Add your peas let it cook till turning darker yellow
- Add 1 cup of water stir well
- After water is absorbed add 2nd cup add spices
- After water is gone aadd 3rd add cheese water bring to boil cover turn off heat keep covered
- After 10 minutes stir and serve
