Gourmet Broccoli

  1. Cook fresh broccoli in boiling salted water until tender-crisp.
  2. Drain and chop coarsely.
  3. (Cook frozen broccoli as directed on package and then drain.)
  4. Make white sauce by blending butter, flour, chicken stock base and salt.
  5. Add milk and cook until thickened.
  6. Make stuffing according to package directions, adding nuts if desired.
  7. Mix.
  8. Put broccoli into greased 2-quart casserole dish.
  9. Pour white sauce over and top with stuffing. Press down slightly.
  10. Bake at 400u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
