Candy & Peanut Brownies
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Land O Lakes Eggs
- 2 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted, cooled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
- 1/4 cup salted peanuts
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Grease 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
- Combine sugar, butter and brown sugar in bowl.
- Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
- Add eggs, unsweetened chocolate and vanilla.
- Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until well mixed.
- Add flour; continue beating, scraping bowl often, until mixed.
- Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate pieces and peanuts.
- Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Sprinkle remaining chocolate pieces on batter.
- Bake 25-30 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.
