Grilled Double-Decker Pizza Sandwich
- 15 slices To 20 Slices Small Pepperoni
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 6 slices Texas Toast Bread
- 4 slices Mozzarella Or Colby Jack Cheese
- 1/2 cups Marinara, More Or Less To Taste
- Heat a griddle to 350-375 degrees F, or a pan over medium heat.
- Slice pepperoni in half.
- Butter four slices of bread and place two slices (butter-side down) on the preheated griddle.
- Layer cheese, a few pepperoni slices and a couple tablespoons of marinara.
- Top with a slice of (un-buttered) Texas toast, cheese, pepperoni slices and sauce.
- Top that with the last piece of buttered bread (butter-side up) and flip once the bottom is golden.
- Griddle until a golden crust appears and the cheese is melted.
- Cut and serve!
