Barbecue Chicken Pita Pizza
- 2 cups Shredded, Cooked Chicken
- 1/4 cups Barbecue Sauce, Plus 8 Tablespoons, Divided
- 4 Flat Pita Breads
- 2 cups Shredded Mozzeralla Cheese (I Used Dutch Farms Brand)
- Fresh Cilantro For Topping, If Desired
- Preheat oven to 400 F.
- In a small bowl, mix chicken and 1/4 cup barbecue squce until combined.
- Set aside.
- Spread 2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce onto each pita.
- Place the pitas on a large baking pan.
- Top with a thin layer of mozzarella cheese, followed by the barbecue sauce, and more cheese.
- Repeat with each pita.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cut into slices.
- Top with fresh cilantro, if desired.
- Serve immediately.
- Enjoy!
