Easy Cherry Crisp
- 1 pkg. yellow
- white cake mix
- 2 cans Comstock Instant Cherry Pie
- 2 cubes butter, melted
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 container Cool Whip
- In a 9x13-inch ungreased baking pan, pour cans of pie-filling and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle cinnamon over the pie filling.
- Dump dry cake mix over the pie filling and distribute equally.
- Make little indentations with a spoon over all the dry cake mix.
- Spoon melted butter in each little indentation.
- Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the top of all.
- Bake at 350F for 45 minutes, or until browned lightly on top.
- Cool and serve in dessert cups topped with Cool Whip.
