Buffalo Bills' Taco Dip
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
- 1 1/4 lb. ground chuck
- 1 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 medium red onion, diced
- 1 jar chunky picante sauce
- 1/3 head lettuce, cut in 1/4-inch squares
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 can black olives, sliced
- Mix cream cheese and sour cream (blender or mixer).
- Spread over bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Chill.
- Brown meat.
- Drain.
- Add taco seasoning and 1 cup water.
- Bring to boil, then simmer 10 minutes.
- Cool.
- Spread cooled meat mixture over cream cheese and sour cream.
- Layer diced tomato and onion.
- Spread picante sauce over.
- Cover all with cut lettuce.
- Top with shredded Cheddar. Sprinkle with sliced olives.
- Serve chilled with tortilla chips.
