Hummus for My Young-Un
- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 18 cup tahini
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- garlic powder, to taste
- salt, to taste
- 1 -2 tablespoon carrot baby food (or other veggies...be creative!)
- water, to reach desired consistency
- combine ingredients in a blender or food processor and puree, adding water until you reach desired consistency.
- serve with pita chips, crudites, or as a sandwich spread.
- My son loves it with pretzels, just like his mama!
