Crockpot Meridith's Molten Blondies

  1. IN A BOWL, MIX TOGETHER FLOUR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT.
  2. IN A SEPARATE BOWL, BEAT 1 CUP BROWN SUGAR WITH BUTTER UNTIL CREAMY.
  3. STIR IN VANILLA.
  4. ADD DRY INGREDIENTS ALTERNATELY WITH MILK, BEATING WELL AFTER EACH ADDITION.
  5. STIR IN CHIPS AND NUTS, IF USING.
  6. SPREAD MIXTURE EVENLY IN PREPARED SLOW COOKER STOEWARE.
  7. IN A HEATPROOF MEASURE, COMBINE REMAINING BROWN SUGAR AND BOILING WATER.
  8. POUR OVER BATTER.
  9. COVER AND COOK ON HIGH FOR 2 1/2 TO 3 HOURS, UNTIL CAKER LAYER LOOKS COOKED.
  10. SERVE WARM WITH VANILLA ICE CREAM.
