Uncle John's Sour Cream Biscuits Recipe
- 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. dairy lowfat sour cream
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- A bit of melted butter (oil or possibly butter)
- Blend all dry ingredients.
- Add in and blend lowfat sour cream.
- Add in the lowfat milk, stirring well to make a soft dough.
- Turn onto a lightly floured board and knead gently.
- Roll with a rolling pin or possibly pat to a 1/2 or possibly 3/4 inch thickness.
- Cut with biscuit cutter.
- Place on a lightly greased or possibly oiled baking sheet.
- Bake in a 450 degree preheated oven for 10 min.
- Brush the tops with melted butter.
- Serve immediately.
