Reese'S Cookies
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. shortening or 1 1/2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 2/3 c. (10 oz. pkg.) Reese's peanut butter chips
- 2/3 c. Hershey's chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a small bowl, stir together flour and baking soda.
- In large mixer bowl, beat shortening, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy.
- Add eggs.
- Beat well. Gradually add flour mixture, blending in well.
- Stir in peanut butter chips and chocolate chips.
- Spoon dough onto ungreased cookie sheet, (approximately 1 rounded teaspoonful).
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly brown.
- Cool slightly.
- Remove from cookie sheet.
- Yields 5 dozen.
