Fruit Skewers With Maple Sauce

  1. Thread fruit onto eight wood skewers, alternating varieties.
  2. Reserve.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat maple syrup with evaporated milk.
  4. Bring to a boil and add cornstarch and Grand marnier.
  5. Continue to cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
  6. Serve two skewers per person, pouring hot maple sauce over fruit.
