Saturday Morning Syrup

  1. Heat sugar and corn syrup until sugar is completely dissolved.
  2. Add liqueur and stir to blend.
  3. To cook out the alcohol simmer for two to three minutes.
  4. For thinner syrup or a stronger liqueur flavor, add more liqueur to taste.
  5. For a thicker syrup, add more sugar.
  6. When desired results are reached, cool liquid in pan over an ice bath.
  7. Syrup will thicken as it cools.
