Beefy tomato bake
- 2 tomato's
- 6 small potato's thinly sliced
- 1 large onion thinly sliced
- 1 (MEAT MIXTURE)
- 2 lb minced beef
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped parsley
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 clove garlic chopped
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 green onion thinly sliced (scallion)
- 1 (SAUCE)
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- 1/2 lemon
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 2 1/4 cup water
- 4 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- Preheat oven to 375
- Start sauce first by adding tomato paste.. juice of a half of lemon..salt..pepper..olive oil..sugar..water..dried parsley..onion powder to a bowl and mix good and then set a side
- In a large bowl mix the minced beef and sliced green onions..fresh chopped parsley..salt..pepper..garlic powder..chopped garlic..onion powder and a 1/4 cup of the sauce
- In a large casserole dish that has a cover >flatten the beef mixture to the bottom of the dish evenly
- Add the sliced potato's over the beef until its covered
- Add the sliced tomato's over the potato's
- Add the sliced onion's over the tomato's
- Pour the rest of the sauce over top and cover and bake for 1 hour
- When finished serve over rice !
