Spirited Butterscotch Sauce Recipe

  1. Combine the butter, brown sugar, cream, and salt in the slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on for 1 hour.
  3. Add the Scotch, whisking until well blended and heated through.
  4. Serve warm.
  5. You may keep the sauce warm on for up to 1 hour before serving.
  6. If made in advance, store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
