Pinto Beans

  1. Soak beans overnight in water.
  2. Drain and rinse bean in a colander.
  3. In a heavy pan, combine all ingredients.
  4. Being to a boil, cover and reduce heat.
  5. Simmer 1 1/2 hours, or until beans are tender.
