Clam Bacon and Chive Dip
- 4 slices bacon, coarsely chopped
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon bottled clam juice
- 1 -2 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (5 ounce) can baby clams, rinsed drained and chopped
- 2 -4 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell peppers
- 14 cup chopped chives
- salt and pepper
- In skillet, cook bacon until browned and crisp.
- Drain on paper towels.
- In bowl, using a fork, mix cream cheese, clam juice, 1 teaspoon lime juice, and Worcestershire sauce until just blended.
- Stir in clams, chives and red pepper and just enough sour cream to reach dipping consistency.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Stir in bacon.
- Add remaining lime juice, if desired.
