Buttered Pasta
- 5 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
- 3 teaspoons Instant Chicken Bouillon
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 12 ounces, weight Bowtie Pasta
- 1.
- Bring 4 quarts water to a full rolling boil.
- Add a pinch of salt to water if desired (I dont always).
- Meanwhile, cut up butter into tablespoons according to wrapper guides.
- Place on a plate with chicken bouillon, salt and pepper.
- 2.
- Add pasta and boil for 10-15 minutes.
- Bite a noodle every few minutes after the initial 10 minutes to get the firmness you want.
- 3.
- Drain pasta and return to pot.
- Add and stir in other ingredients with a spatula, wooden spoon or almost any stirring implement youve got handy.
- It may take about 5 minutes for everything to distribute evenly.
- 4.
- Eat.
- Its great alongside almost any main course dish you can think of.
