Chocolate White Chocolate Chunk Cookies
- 4 squares BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
- 1-1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 pkg. (12 oz.) BAKER'S White Chocolate Chunks
- 1 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts (optional)
- Microwave unsweetened chocolate in microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes until almost melted.
- Stir until chocolate is completely melted; set aside.
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt in medium bowl; set aside.
- Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
- Stir in melted chocolate.
- Gradually add flour mixture, mixing until well blended after each addition.
- Stir in chocolate chunks and walnuts.
- Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 350F for 11 to 12 minutes or until cookies feel set to the touch.
- Cool on cookie sheets 1 minute.
- Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
