Pork Fried Brown Rice
- 1 pound Boneless Pork Chops
- 4 cups Cooked And Refrigerated Brown Rice
- 1/2 cups Lite Soy Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Fish Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
- Salt/pepper To Taste
- 3 Tablespoons "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter"
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1 Medium Yellow Or White Onion, Chopped
- Heat 1 tablespoon sesame oil in a wok on medium heat.
- Cut pork into small pieces, and toss into wok once heated.
- Cook until brown.
- Remove pork and set aside.
- Next, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil to the wok and toss in the chopped onion.
- Cook until soft.
- Place two eggs in the wok, and stir until eggs are fully cooked with the onion.
- Finally, add all remaining ingredients to the wok (including the pork).
- Stir and let cook until rice has absorbed sauces, butter is fully melted, and the rice is heated through.
- You can really use any meat you would like: shrimp, chicken or pork.
- We cook the brown rice at the beginning of the week, and use it throughout the week in different meals.
- This helps make the preparation faster.
- Also, I learned real fried rice is made from 3-day-old rice.
