Easy Vegetable Veal Ragout Recipe

  1. Dredge veal for stew in flour.
  2. Heat oil in Dutch oven.
  3. Brown veal cubes in batches; return to pan.
  4. Add in water, scraping browned bits from bottom of pan.
  5. Add in wine, bouillon granules, garlic, thyme, salt and pepper; bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low; cover tightly and simmer 55 min.
  7. Add in vegetables and continue cooking, covered, 5 min.
  8. 6 servings.
