Lumpia Shanghai

  1. Mix pork, green onions, eggs and soy sauce in bowl.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Lay out one lumpia wrapper on clean surface.
  4. Spread 1-2 tablespoons of mixture in a thin line against the edge of wrapper.
  5. Roll tightly, very long and thin, leaving the edges open.
  6. Seal opposite end with water.
  7. Deep fry at 350 degrees until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  8. Drain on paper towels.
  9. Before serving, cut them in half.
  10. Serve with sweet sour or vinegar and garlic dipping sauce.
  11. Mix together all ingredients.
  12. In a small pan combine vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, water, sugar and salt, and boil for 2 minutes.
  13. Thicken with cornstarch mixture.
