Glazed Chunky Apple Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. In mixer bowl, mix sugar and oil.
  3. Add eggs and mix till frothy.
  4. Add flour, salt, soda and spices.
  5. Fold in apples and nuts.
  6. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan, and bake for 1 hour.
  7. For glaze, mix all ingredients in a small saucepan.
  8. Bring to a boil and boil 2 minutes.
  9. Punch holes in warm cake with wooden skewer, and pour glaze over holes.
  10. Allow to sit till glaze sets up, and serve warm or cooled.
  11. Refrigerate leftovers.
