Simple and Easy Banana Cream Pie
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 2 sticks butter, melted
- 6 to 7 bananas
- 6 tbsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 3 cups cold milk
- 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 container (8 oz.) Cool Whip
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Preheat oven to 375F.
- In a medium bowl, mix together flour and 2 T. sugar.
- Stir in melted butter until mixture forms a ball.
- Spread in bottom of a 13x9x2-inch pan.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes.
- (Do not overbake or your crust will be hard.)
- Cool crust for 30 minutes.
- Slice bananas and arrange over cool crust.
- In a small bowl, combine 6 T. sugar and ground cinnamon.
- Sprinkle over bananas.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Slowly mix in 1 c. of milk.
- Add instant vanilla pudding, remaining 2 c. of milk, and 1 t. vanilla.
- Mix until combined (mixture will not be smooth).
- Carefully pour over bananas.
- Carefully fold 1 t. vanilla into Cool Whip.
- Spread evenly over pudding mixture.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
