Chicken And Spaghetti Casserole
- chicken
- spaghetti
- 1 medium onion
- 1 can tomatoes without juice
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- salt
- pepper
- bay leaf
- 1 pt. chicken broth
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1/2 c. ripe olives
- grated cheese
- Cook chicken and take meat off bones.
- Cook spaghetti.
- Brown onion.
- Add tomatoes.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and bay leaf.
- Add chicken broth.
- Cook down about 10 minutes. Thicken a little with flour and broth.
- Let this simmer about 30 minutes.
- Add chicken and heat through.
- Then add mushrooms and olives, if desired.
- Butter baking dish.
- Cover bottom with spaghetti which has been cooked.
- Add alternately layers of chicken, spaghetti and grated cheese.
- Dot with butter.
- Bake at 350u0b0 about 20 or 30 minutes.
