Taco Casserole
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 2 (8 oz.) jars taco sauce
- 4 c. small corn chips
- 2 cans pinto beans, drained
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheese
- finely shredded lettuce
- 1 pt. sour cream
- Brown
- ground beef and onion;
- drain.
- Add taco seasoning and taco sauce.
- Crumble 2 cups of corn chips in casserole dish; add meat mixture on top of chips.
- Put drained beans on top of
- meat; cover
- with
- foil.
- Bake
- 30
- minutes
- at 350u0b0. Remove foil;
- add rest
- of
- crumbled chips.
- Top with cheese. Return
- to
- oven
- and bake,
- uncovered,
- until
- cheese melts. Garnish with shredded lettuce and sour cream, if so desired.
