Game Day Potato Rings
- 1 russet potatoes
- 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 tsp course ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp mesquite seasoning
- 1/3 cup oil for cooking
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp spicy brown mustard
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 pinch chili powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- heat oil in skillet on medium low heat
- wash and slice your potatoes into desired thickness.
- cut a circle into middle.I used a metal 1/2 tspn to just give me desired shape, then cut push center out.I left skins on potato
- combine all seasonings into bread crumbs & panko mix well.
- dip potatoes into milk then add to panko mix coat generously deep fry about 6-7 minutes per minutes.
- drain on paper towel.
- sprinkle with parsley flakes if desired
- mix all spicy mustard ingredients together adjust seasonings to liking.
