Dim Sum Pork
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 Tbsp. dry sherry wine
- 2 tsp. chicken bouillon
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. oil
- 2 tsp. ginger root
- 1 tsp. fresh garlic
- 9 oz. pork strips
- 1/8 c. scallions
- 1 to 2 c. snap peas
- 1/4 c. green peppers
- 1/4 c. red onions
- rice
- cornstarch and water mixture
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- Make sauce by combining first 8 ingredients, bringing them to a boil and then adding a cornstarch and water mixture to thicken. (Thicken to the point where sauce will cling to pork, but not too thick.)
- Saute pork in pan of melted butter until 1/2 done.
- Now add vegetables and finish cooking.
- When pork and vegetables are done, add sauce and toss, then serve over a bed of rice.
