Turkey Burger with Fresh Tomato Salsa
- 1 tomato, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1 lb. (450 g) lean ground turkey
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Bull's-Eye Bold Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
- 4 hamburger buns
- Heat barbecue to medium heat.
- Combine tomatoes and basil; set aside.
- Mix turkey, bread crumbs, garlic and 1/4 cup barbecue sauce just until blended; shape into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
- Grill patties 7 to 8 min.
- on each side or until done (165F), adding buns, cut sides down, to barbecue for the last minute to toast to desired doneness.
- Spread bottom halves of buns with remaining barbecue sauce.
- Cover with burgers, tomato mixture and tops of buns.
