Fat-Free Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. quick oats
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 egg whites
- 1/3 c. corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. raisins
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
- Stir in egg whites, corn syrup and vanilla until well mixed.
- Add raisins. (Batter will be stiff.)
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until firm.
- Do not overbake.
- Remove; cool on wire rack.
- Makes 2 1/2 dozen. Preparation time:
- 20 minutes.
- Each cookie provides:
- 0 grams fat; 0 mg. cholesterol; 60 calories; 1 gram protein; 65 mg. sodium and 13 grams carbohydrates.
