Golden Raisin Aged Cheddar Ramen
- 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles, any flavor will work. I like Oriental
- 2 cups water
- 1 seasoning, packet (from the Ramen)
- 1 -2 cup water (depending on how strong or soupy you like it)
- 1 tablespoon freshly shredded parmesan cheese
- 14 cup shredded aged white cheddar cheese (I found some 4 year old cheese at Sam's Club for cheap.)
- 14 cup golden raisin
- Tabasco sauce
- Place 1 packet Ramen and 2 cups water in a microwave safe container.
- Microwave on high for 4-6 minutes depending on microwave or until noodles are desired tenderness.
- Depending on how hot you like your soup, how strong and soupy, you can drain the noodles and add cooler water.
- Usually this is about 1-2 cups water.
- Don't make it too cold or the cheese will not melt right.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Side note: If you are like me and don't like it too hot or too soupy, but this makes it too strong, don't use the entire seasoning packet.
- Same advice if you find it is too salty.
- You can even replace with a small piece of bullion.
