Cormac's quick brown bread.

  1. Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl with a wooden spoon.
  2. Beat the egg in with the buttermilk and add to dry ingredients mixing well.
  3. Place dough into a 2lb tin lined with parchment paper... creating a slight hollow down the centre of the wet mix.
  4. Bake in pre heated oven at 190c for 40 minutes.. (test with skewer.. if dough sticks to skewer.. cook more), and turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
