Ham and cheese turnovers

  1. Heat oven to 400F.
  2. On parchment lined cookie sheet, place pastry dough that has been cut into equal halves
  3. Spread all ingredients evenly between the two sheets leaving a quarter of an inch of edge exposed.
  4. With wet fingertip wet edges of pastry and fold over ends to form a pocket.
  5. Cut slits in top to vent.
  6. Bake 20 minutes until nicely browned.
  7. Let cool a few minutes and enjoy while they are nice and warm.
