Camp Stew
- 1 pork chop
- 2 c. water
- 1 chicken breast
- salt to taste
- 1 large potato, diced
- 1 large can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lb. ground beef, crumbled
- dash of garlic salt
- 1 c. small green butter beans
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 large can yellow creamed corn
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- In a large pot, simmer the first 4 ingredients until very tender. When tender, remove bone, fat and skin. Shred meat with fingers. Add to meat and broth mixture the remaining ingredients. Cook until potato and beef are done, adding water if necessary. Stew should be about the consistency of stew. Easy and very good and inexpensive to cook. Serves 8 to 10.
