Chocolate Cherry Cobbler(Low-Fat)

  3. Mix 2 tablespoons brown sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir in cherries. Cook over medium heat, stirring some until slightly thickened, 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in almond flavoring and food coloring.
  5. Pour into ungreased 1-quart casserole or a 9 x 9-inch square cake pan. Cut margarine into flour, cocoa and 1 tablespoon brown sugar until finely crumbled. Stir in milk and vanilla. Drop dough by 6 spoonfuls onto hot cherry mixture.
  6. Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm.
  7. Makes 6 servings.
