Blackberry Jam
- 3 cups blackberries
- 2 cups water
- 4 ounces fruit pectin, dry powdered, one box
- 5 cups sugar
- Crush fruit thoroughly.
- Add water and fruit pectin.
- Stir until pectin is dissolved.
- Heat to boiling.
- Boil 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add sugar.
- Stir until dissolved.
- Boil 3 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, or until thick.
