Bay Scallop Stew Recipe

  2. Bay Scallop Stew In heavy sauce pan saute/fry shallots in butter, add in wine; boil.
  3. Lower heat and simmer 2 minutes.
  4. Add in scallops, simmer 5 minutes.
  5. Add in lowfat milk, cream and chives.
  6. Stir till warm.
  7. Don't boil.
  8. salt and white pepper.
  9. Serve.
  10. prep time 30 - 45 minutes.
  11. **Alternative: 1/2 # scallop - 1/2 # lobster meat.
  12. Stew will separate slightly.
