Holiday Pumpkin Bread Recipe

  1. Cream shortening and stir in sugar and Large eggs.
  2. Stir in molasses and pumpkin.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  4. Beat till well blended.
  5. Pour mix into a well greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  6. Arrange 6 whole half nuts on top of loaf as extra decoration.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till done.
  8. Unmold and cold.
  9. Cut in thin slices; spread with butter or possibly cream cheese.
