Cocktail Piroshki(Miniature Meat Pies)
- 3 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 lb. very lean ground beef
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. dill weed
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. dairy sour cream
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 pkg. frozen patty shells
- Rehydrate minced onion in water for 10 minutes.
- In a small skillet, melt the butter; add onion and saute 2 minutes.
- Add the beef and cook, stirring, until browned.
- Remove from heat.
- Add eggs, dill weed, parsley flakes, paprika, salt, pepper, sour cream and lemon juice.
- Mix thoroughly; set aside.
