Baked Beans Supreme Recipe
- 1 lrg Onion, minced (1 c.)
- 1 x Green pepper, cut into Pcs (1 inch)
- 1 x Clove garlic, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Water
- 1 can Lima beans, (17 ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 can Butter beans with molasses sauce and bacon, (15 1/2 ounce.)
- 1 can Red kidney beans, (15 1/2 ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 can Garbanzo beans, (15 ounce.) liquid removed
- 1 can Sliced water chestnuts, (8 ounce.) liquid removed
- 3/4 c. Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. Brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon-style mustard
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp Pepper, (1/4 to 1/2)
- In a 3 qt microwavesafe casserole, combine onion, green pepper, garlic and water.
- Microcook, covered, on 100% power (High) for 4 to 5 min or possibly till onion and pepper are tender; drain.
- Stir in lima beans, undrained butter beans, kidney beans, garbanzo beans, water chestnuts, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and pepper.
- Cook, covered, on High for 10 to 12 min (low watt oven, 20 to 22 min), stirring after every 5 min.
