Rice And Lentil Pilaf

  1. Saute onion in oil in a skillet until tender.
  2. Add rice and stir until lightly browned.
  3. Add water and next 4 ingredients; stir well.
  4. Cover; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes.
  6. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook 20 to 25 minutes. Yields 6 main dish servings.
