Grapenut Bread
- 1 cup grape nuts
- 1 each eggs well beaten
- 2 cups milk
- 3 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Combine grapenuts, egg, and milk.
- Let stand 1/2 hour, add sugar.
- Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt.
- Add to first mixture.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Pour into well-oiled loaf pan.
- Bake in moderate oven (400 degrees F) about 1 hour.
