Grapenut Bread

  1. Combine grapenuts, egg, and milk.
  2. Let stand 1/2 hour, add sugar.
  3. Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt.
  4. Add to first mixture.
  5. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Pour into well-oiled loaf pan.
  7. Bake in moderate oven (400 degrees F) about 1 hour.
