Traditional Cornbread Stuffing Recipe

  1. Remove sausage from casing and chop into small pcs.
  2. Brown sausage, remove from pan and drain.
  3. Retain drippings to fry onions and celery.
  4. (Saute/fry lightly, don't brown.)
  5. In a separate pan mix stuffing mix according to recipe on the bag.
  6. Then proceed to add in butter, garlic pwdr, poultry seasoning, pecans and egg; mix thoroughly.
  7. Then add in sausage and sauteed onions and celery.
  8. This recipe really gives the turkey a nice flavor.
