Pizza Dough
- 8 ounces, fluid Warm Milk, Divided
- 2 pounds Flour (usually It Takes Less But Prepare 2 Pounds)
- 1 teaspoon Dry Yeast
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 ounces, weight Butter, Melted And Cooled
- Pour half of the milk into a large bowl.
- Add a couple of tablespoons flour, dry yeast, salt and sugar.
- Stir it all together, cover the bowl with a tea towel and set aside for 1/2 hour.
- Then add egg, butter and the rest of the milk.
- Now start pouring the flour.
- Do not put all in at once.
- Add some and mix to combine.
- Then add a little more flour and mix to combine.
- You just want to use enough flour until the dough starts to come together.
- When the necessary consistency is reached, fold the dough and add a little more flour, just until it stops sticking to your hands.
- Put the dough into a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a tea towel.
- Leave the pizza dough in a warm place for about an hour.
- After the dough has risen, fold it again, then put it onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out.
- Then start assembling your pizza.
- Bake the assembled pizza at 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) for 20 minutes.
