Pumpkin Dessert
- 2 c. graham crackers
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 c. pumpkin
- 4 egg yolks
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 pkg. Knox gelatine
- 1/4 c. cold water
- 4 beaten egg whites
- 1/4 c. sugar
- Press graham crackers, 1/3 cup sugar and butter into 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Mix 3 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar and cream cheese.
- Pour over crust and bake for 20 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Cool.
- Cook pumpkin, 4 egg yolks, 3/4 cup sugar, milk, salt and cinnamon until heated well.
- Dissolve gelatine in cold water and add to pumpkin mixture. Cool and add 4 beaten egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar, beaten into egg whites.
- Pour mixture into cooled crust.
- Can top with Cool Whip.
