Shrimp Dip 2
- 8 oz. sour cream (can use low-fat)
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. minced onions
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 bottle of Crosse & Blackwell cocktail sauce, chilled
- 1 or 2 cans broken shrimp, chilled, rinsed well and patted dry
- 1 box "sturdy" crackers of your choice
- Mix sour cream and cream cheese until smooth. Add Worcestershire sauce to taste, usually to a light tan/beige color. Then add minced onions and garlic powder. Spread mixture into a concave dish (dish with a lip on it, not a flat plate). Gently spread about 3/4 of the cocktail sauce on top of cheese mixture. Leave a 1/2-inch of cheese mixture showing around the edge. Crumble (well dried) shrimp on top of cocktail sauce. Chill for 3 to 4 hours. Serve with your favorite crackers.
