Victorian Shrimp Creole Recipe

  1. Thaw shrimp and cut large ones in half.
  2. Heat butter; blend in flour and brown, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually add in the water and cook, stirring till thick.
  4. Add in remaining ingredients, except rice; cover and simmer 20 min.
  5. Remove bay leaves and serve over rice.
  6. Serves 6.
