Melt Away Cheese Rounds
- 3/4 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- dash of salt
- 1 Tbsp. poppy seed or 2 tsp. paprika
- Cream butter in food processor or mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add
- cheese,
- flour,
- salt, paprika or poppy seed and form into
- a
- dough.
- Chill
- dough about 2 hours.
- Shape dough into smalltven balls; place on greased cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle with some extra paprika or poppy seed.
- Bake balls at 400u0b0 for about 10
- minutes or until just baked through.
- The rounds should never get
- brown.
- Cool and remove carefully.
- Store in airtight container.these rounds may be frozen for later use. Chill the rounds
- 30tinutes
- on
- the
- baking
- sheets
- before baking.
