Ancho-Chile Marinade
- 12 cup dry white wine
- 14 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 4 tablespoons fresh oregano leaves or 4 teaspoons dry oregano
- 2 tablespoons dried ancho chile powder
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 green onions, sliced thin
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 12 teaspoons salt
- 2 12 teaspoons black pepper
- Add the wine, oil, garlic, oregano, ancho chile powder, lemon juice, green onions, brown sugar, salt and pepper into a blender.
- Blend the mixture until smooth.
- Marinate 2 - 24 hours.
