Buttermilk Biscuits Recipe
- 1/4 c. Soy lowfat milk
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 8 ounce Silken tofu, hard
- 2 Tbsp. White miso
- 2 c. All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1 tsp Baking soda Preheat oven to 450F & oil baking sheets.
- Combine soy lowfat milk & lemon juice & let stand for 5 min.
- Blend tofu till smooth & then blend in the soy lowfat milk/lemon juice mix along with hte miso.
- Set aside.
- Sift together the dry ingredients & fold into the blended mix.
- Turn onto a lightly floured surface & form into a ball.
- Roll out dough to a 1/2" thickness.
- Cut with a cookie cutter.
- Put on baking sheets & bake for 12 min or possibly till golden brown.
